Generali Han
Completed in 1909 on historic Bankers Street, Generali Han stands as a stunning example of early 20th-century commercial architecture. Designed by acclaimed Italian architect Giulio Mongeri for Assicurazioni Generali, the building embodies an era of dynamic international investment in the Ottoman Empire's financial district.
Once known as Vitalis Han, this landmark has housed the Bank of Thessaloniki and bears Mongeri's signature style. Its façade, a graceful mix of Art Nouveau and Neoclassical design, welcomes visitors into a grand central atrium bathed in natural light — capturing the refined spirit of its time.
